No. 7: Halloween

As you may have already guessed from my previous post, my favourite holiday, and another addiction, is Halloween. I love the spooky atmosphere and the excitement of playing pretend. The Reese's Peanut Butter Cups don't hurt either, except on the scale!

I have always been fascinated with the afterlife because it so mysterious. It happens to everyone yet none of us can explain for certain what happens when the time comes. Sure some have theories or beliefs, but there is no telling of what happens. Halloween is the day to celebrate those ghosts, goblins and other dark creatures of the underworld.

I am so addicted to Halloween that I keep the decorations up year long. I have black, twisted trees in the living room, a painting of Captain Spalding in the dining room, horror movie figures around the house, blood splatter and flying bat decals on the windows and a Psycho shower curtain in the bathroom complete with sounds effects. The best day to go shopping for this stuff? November 1. It's like boxing day but for Halloween addicts. The best!

  1. Wow thats interesting. I am seceretly jealous with your obsession with Halloween, considering I have never been trick or treating in my life. Tragic, yes. It was not my fault i wasn't allowed. When i grew a bit older and was ready to try it, it was not cool anymore. Another tragedy is the fact that I never dressed up for Halloween. My parents had weird ideas about Halloween when i was growing. I am still upset about it, considering my little sisters got to part take in all its festivities.

  2. I am defiantly to much of a baby to be addicted to Halloween. I am terrified of my own shadow. I can't watch criminal minds past 8pm or I can't sleep.

  3. Becky I thought I was the only one who loved Halloween this much!!! It is my holiday, I think to the point where I love it more than Christmas, and whenever I would tell people this they would look at me like I was messed in the head lol...I love the feeling of being scared that comes with Halloween, it's such a rush, and I'm so happy that I found someone else who loves it the way I do
