Another of my extremely unhealthy addictions is shoes. This addiction is unhealthy because it hurts my bank account. I love skate shoes the most and have 13 pairs of Vans classic slip-ons alone. All together I have 31 pairs of shoes. The number was larger but sadly I had to let some go...Please excuse me while I grab a tissue and mourn those lost soles...
And now that I have composed myself again I will continue with my story. My love of skate shoes began in high school when it was cool to wear them even if you didn't own a skateboard. I was one of those kids. No skateboard but tons of killer kicks. My addiction grew when I got my first job and with that comes disposable income. Cha ching! I was at the mall every weekend scoping out the shoes and hardly noticing the boys. That is a serious addiction.
Over the years I have refined my collection and have become loyal to certain brands. You will never catch me in Payless or the shoe department at any large chain superstore unless I need something gawdy, cheap and awful for a costume party.
Spring and summer are just around the corner and I only have 7 pairs of flip flops. I must be off to the mall soon to snag this year's coolest sandals...
Everyone says I'm cute and I agree. I'm also pretty funny and I love making people laugh. I love to laugh as well and apparantly my laugh is very distinct so you'll know when I'm in the room. I am in love with music and plan on involving it with every aspect of my life. I would love to become a concert photographer and travel. One of my favourite things to do is get tattooed by Bobby T which is addicting and costly, but I love it! Tattoos are one of my addictions as you will read in my blog. I have many interests and obsessions that I will share with the readers.
A history of rock icons: The Bobs
Since first meeting while creative writing majors at their college in Welland, The Bobs soared to the top of the rock scene in 2003 with their debut album, Boberiffic. The band's latest album, Bobanza, joins together Becky (Bob)'s politically charged vocal work with arena ready riffs to generate an album highlighting rock and roll at its finest. With standout tracks like "The Cosby Sweater," already certified platinum in Europe, The Bobs can count on loads of future success.
